Series: Self Care

During COVID-19, Sage was represented by Stay Home Gallery and was asked to create work for a group exhibition titled, “Hope|Revolution” of which birthed their first series. Self Care began as the pandemic’s right of passage and speaks to the sociological and psychological addiction to social media. Over-consumption, wine, and clawfoot tubs were at the forefront of this unavoidable hashtag. While we stay glued to our phones and bare witness to those more fortunate in isolation, we must ask “is this really what I need?”.
